Let Go emerged following a breakup. Several emotion-filled pages were written, trying to flesh out all that had occurred and why. The frustration of being with someone who doled out bite-sized pieces of time and effort, but repeatedly asked for more and more. Ultimately, to relinquish a sacred act in order for them to allegedly pursue the relationship further. The conclusion that we were two people on different paths, with vastly different levels of investment in the relationship, came to a head as Hip-Hop artist, K-Riz, comes in with a smooth but raw, complimentary verse to take it to the next level.
